Starting his digital career early in the 90’s with MS-Dos mastery to navigating user design and product deployment in the finance sector, James is an experienced Non-Executive Director and strategic advisor who has extensive experience driving strategy and innovation across sectors in Australia.
With a strong design and systems thinking background, particularly in complex operating environments, James has advised companies and governments on how to unleash their potential from an enterprise level through to product design and deployment delivering significant commercial and ESG results.
A keen whiteboard strategist, data guru and gaming-dad, James loves embracing the uncertainty of strategy and the power of digital innovation to make an impact for future generations.

He is driven to deliver exceptional client experiences and holds himself and his team to a high standard.
James leads the Spatial Analytics team and sees his role as an opportunity for element to explore exciting new ways of adding value to clients' projects. Through this work, James is leveraging detailed Retail Gravity Models, Human Movement Data, data visualisation and generative AI to better understand his clients' challenges and find unique solutions.
